ORGANIZATIONAL SET-UP
1. Cluster
We have grouped our trainees into different clusters in order to know them personally and intimately. The cluster meeting is held in the last week of every month .A teacher educator each is given charge of each cluster. He/she will have sufficient time and opportunity to interact with the trainees. This will help the trainees to find ways and means to solve their problems and difficulties by themselves.
2. Students’ Parliament
The trainees are given responsibility in the overall functioning of the institution in a democratic way. The teacher trainees have parliament session in every fortnight in order to discuss and take decision on various aspects regarding our day to day functioning.
3. Academic Council
The meeting of the academic council is held every month. In these meetings, we discuss and assess the academic standard and functioning of the institution. Self-evaluation and suggestion for improvement are the main agenda of the council.
4. Staff Meeting
The last Saturday of every month is set apart for convening the staff meetings. In these meetings, all what is related to the institution will come under discussion. Policies are highlighted and previous programmes are evaluated. New projects for the month are proposed and entrusted to the staff members for an advanced planning and implementation.
5. Grievance Redressal Cell
We have formed a grievance redressal cell in our institution. Director, Principal, staff secretary and students’ representatives are the members of the cell. Timely advices are given and actions are being taken in order to solve the problems related to the inmates. We have a periodical sitting once in a term and whenever needed.
6. Alumni Association
We have an Alumni association in which the Ex-students of this Institute are the members. The Association was inaugurated by Rev.Fr.Xavier Kudiamssery, Corporate Manager. A meeting of the association was held on 10/1/2009 with a seminar and dinner.
